About
Where Science Meets Infinity.
The Event Horizon Foundation is a francophone organisation contributing significantly to science and the development of innovative technologies that improve people's lives and the sustainability of society — across all systems of the UEE and beyond.
Our mission
Transcending the limits of knowledge
Our name symbolises our commitment to go beyond the known. Just as an event horizon represents the frontier of possibilities in the universe, we venture into unexplored territories of knowledge — fostering an environment of curiosity and exploration to illuminate the very essence of the unknown.
The foundation grants support to projects received through open competition and to initiatives it launches directly. The objective is always the same: improve people's lives through better health, education, and a sustainable society built on knowledge.
We also invest in startups to reduce dependence on external generosity — 100% of dividends are reinvested in humanitarian or scientific projects.
What guides us
Our values
Curiosity & exploration
We organise missions throughout the universe to study what nature reveals — pushing the boundaries of knowledge, one discovery at a time.
Benevolence & ethics
Built on principles of benevolence and ethics. We provide care and support to the most vulnerable, regardless of origin, faction, or allegiance.
Open knowledge
Science advances faster when shared. We support independent journalism, education, and knowledge dissemination throughout all UEE systems and beyond.
Collective action
Our strength lies in a community of passionate minds. Researchers, doctors, engineers, logisticians, and explorers working toward the same horizon.
What we do
Four domains of action
01
Scientific research
Through continuous exploration of planetary systems and anomalies, the foundation advances humanity and pushes the boundaries of knowledge. We support research across almost all scientific fields and co-develop major initiatives — research centres and infrastructure — throughout the UEE and beyond.
02
Medical
Our interstellar medical network is committed to the highest standards of patient care. Our hospitals are also research centres developing innovative therapies and cutting-edge technologies. Our ambition: offer services at the fairest price so that even the most vulnerable can access high-quality care.
03
Philanthropy
Since the beginning, the foundation provides medical support to the most vulnerable and contributes to the dissemination of knowledge throughout all UEE systems. Members and volunteers — mostly medical and paramedical personnel — respond to conflict zones, natural disasters, and humanitarian crises.
04
Societal engagement
Building partnerships with political actors, organisations, and extraterrestrial peoples to develop together a sustainable society based on knowledge. This includes diplomatic missions, mediation in conflicts, and long-term investment in education and innovation.
How we operate
Six active mission areas
Research in natural sciences and technology
Patient-centred and research-based healthcare

Innovation and entrepreneurship in technology
Why “Labs”?
EHF Labs is the experimental wing of the foundation — the space where we test ideas that do not yet fit inside a finished product but could change the way we operate, coordinate, and share knowledge across the verse. Some will become permanent pillars of the foundation. Others will teach us what does not work. All are worth attempting.
This is our way of honouring scientific curiosity — by practising it, openly, without any guarantee of outcome.
