What it is

The long game. Star Citizen Orgs is a Looker Studio dashboard that has been continuously recording data on player organisations since 2019. No other public dataset offers this depth of longitudinal coverage of the Star Citizen ecosystem.

The dashboard tracks membership trends, recruitment activity, organisational growth and decline cycles, and structural changes across thousands of active and dormant player groups — from two-person crews to multi-thousand-member coalitions.

A living archive. As the game evolves and new organisations form, merge, or dissolve, this dataset preserves a record of the political and social landscape of the verse — one patch at a time.

What you can explore

Member count evolution

Track how organisations grow, stagnate, or collapse over months and years — correlated with game updates and community events.

Recruitment trends

Identify when organisations open recruitment, peak activity windows, and seasonal patterns across the community.

Org size distribution

Understand the shape of the ecosystem — how many large coalitions exist versus small crews, and how that ratio shifts over time.

Historical comparisons

Compare the state of the verse today to any previous year since 2019, across any dimension tracked in the dataset.
